to reconstruct and study the beliefs and philosophy of Mani, the founder of a long forgotten world religion.The Chester Beatty Library preserves the largest existing collection of the Manichean manuscripts.
This little booklet, published to accompany a 2009 exhibition, gives a short introduction to Manichaeism and its sacred texts.
