The Silk Road Café
The Silk Road Café's menu is based on Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine, reflecting some of the countries represented in the Library's collections.
Middle Eastern, North African, Mediterranean, vegetarian and celiac friendly dishes are created by our chefs, with a focus on home cooking using only the freshest ingredients.
A selection of twelve dishes change daily, all served with rice and vegetables or with two of our twelve vegetarian salads.
Soups, panini and freshly made falafel are on the menu in addition to a selection of home-made cakes, biscuits, breads, mixed berry scones, chocolate brownies, fruit tarts, fig cake and baklava.
The café also caters for conference delegates and all evening receptions.
