Vacancies for permanent posts or temporary positions are normally filled by way of competition following any or all of the following:

Advertisements in national newspapers
Posting on this website
Posting on www.publicjobs.ie and/or other relevant recruitment websites.

The recruitment process may include any or all of the following components:

Application by application form or covering letter and CV
Psychometric testing
Interview
Security clearance
Medical check

The Library receives a large number of enquiries regarding employment – while we respond to all enquiries and we keep all CVs on file for a period of time, when vacancies arise at the Library, it is not possible for us to contact all individuals who have expressed a desire in working with us.
