The Chester Beatty Library is more than just home to a splendid art collection: it is the primary venue in Ireland dedicated to the exploration and understanding of world cultures and religious traditions. By becoming a member, you help us to expand our award-winning public exhibitions and education programmes. In return, you enjoy a variety of benefits that enable you to explore our collections to the fullest. Gift memberships are also available. Senior Member (over 65)

  • Price : €35
  • The same benefits as the Individual Member

Dual Senior Member

  • Price : €50
  • The same benefits as the Individual Member for two people living at the same address
  • Two membership cards

Contributing Member

Conservation plays a major role in helping us to fulfil our mission of maintaining and preserving the collections for the use and enjoyment of the public. By becoming a contributing member, you support our efforts to maintain the collections to the highest possible standards. As a member of this special group, you will enjoy all the benefits of membership plus:

  • Price : €500
  • Annual contributing members' event
  • Behind-the-scenes visits to our conservation laboratory
  • Invitations to openings of all exhibitions
  • Fifty euro of your donation will go toward your membership. The remaining €450 will be considered as a tax-deductible donation and will go directly to our conservation fund
