Teachers

Teachers are advised to book tours well in advance so that a guide may be made available.

If you have not booked a tour for your class, you are still most welcome to visit the Library.

We ask only that you let us know that you are coming or if you arrive unannounced, that you leave your name and contact address for future reference at our reception desk.

Children must be supervised at all times during their visit to the Library. This is to comply with our Child Protection Policy.

Note for large groups/language schools visiting the Library

While we welcome large groups to our exhibitions, we would greatly appreciate if you would notify us of your visit beforehand. In the busy summer months, the galleries can get quite crowded and prior notification would assist us in making the visit an enjoyable one for all our visitors. All large groups MUST be accompanied by group leaders at all times.
