Design of New Restaurant Furniture


The Chester Beatty Library invites tenders from suitably qualified companies to design, manufacture and supply customized chairs and tables for the two dining rooms of its restaurant. The Restaurant is located in the Atrium of the Library and will require durable and stylish chairs and tables to complement its atmosphere. The furniture must be easy to maintain and the tables, in particular, must be wheelchair-friendly.
If you are interested, you may send an indication of interest and likely orders of cost (including VAT) for the provision of:

Design, manufacture and supply the best quality material and workmanship:                                                    

9-11 tables and 36–44 chairs (material: steel or/and wood, upholstery, colour: gray or/and blue or/and green, size for 2 and 4 people)
We are looking for signature furniture therefore quality and finishes are crucial.

General Notes regarding employment
at the Chester Beatty Library

The Chester Beatty Library, designated as a National Cultural Institution, is a charitable trust, established through the will of Sir Alfred Chester Beatty and employees are employed by the Trustees of the Library.

Vacancies for permanent posts or temporary positions are normally filled by way of competition following any or all of the following:

The recruitment process may include any or all of the following components:

The Library receives a large number of enquiries regarding employment – while we respond to all enquiries and we keep all CVs on file for a period of time, when vacancies arise at the Library, it is not possible for us to contact all individuals who have expressed a desire in working with us.
